We Won The Grant!!

So excited to announce that we won the Lowe’s Hometown Grant! We applied in February 2023 and have been working diligently to meet the requirements. It was announced 2 weeks ago that we got the full grant rewarded and are extremely grateful to the Points of Light team that helped us each step of the way. With these funds we will be able to get liability insurance on the bus, get it sanded and primed at Maaco, painted by our muralist Pam (including paint and supplies purchase), remove the seats and fabricate the bus with shelves to hold the books, and a slide for the children to exit the bus. This will also help us with marketing materials so we can canvas the neighborhoods to announce our arrival in Fall 2023. Thanks Lowe’s Hometown and Points of Light team.
